Fall Shock

Fall Shock is an Italian electronic music project founded by ghost producer, drummer, and singer Francesco Kay in 2018.
Shortly after founding Fall Shock, he met Death Metal guitarist Markus O. This collaboration solidified a sound close to darksynth wave. Through an ethos of production, the music of Fall Shock leads to a sound of urgency and moderation, carefully engaging both the listener and the dancer.
Distressed voices, flickering synths, straight kicks, and hypnotizing guitars recall inner memories and distant atmospheres. This style of production culminated in the recording debut, which took place in September 2020. The album is called “Interior” and was released on the French label Manic Depression Records. Gothic Bop and Goth Worldwide placed “Interior” among the best albums of 2020, and the song “Feels Eternal” among the most listened to. In November 2021, Manic Depression Records released the vinyl version of “Interior,” including remixes by Kontravoid and Black Asteroid.
After the first Fall Shock release, the collaboration between Francesco Kay and Markus O. ends.
In the early months of 2022, Francesco Kay meets guitarist DAM, a dedicated guitarist who draws inspiration from Brian Eno. After a period of rehearsals, the two begin collaborating and start writing Fall Shock’s new album. The album in question will be called “Universal Unit Crime” and will be released in September 2023, once again published by MD in digipack and vinyl format, with coproduction by Maurizio Baggio, who was also involved in the first album, “Interior.”
To promote the album “Universal Unit Crime,” in October 2023, Fall Shock embarks on a tour in the United States, starting from Tampa, Florida, passing through Georgia, North Carolina, and concluding in Richmond, Virginia.
