T\u00e9tines Noires cult and unclassifiable band from the French scene is gathering for a few concerts to celebrate the re-release of their 3 albums on the labels Infrastition and Manic Depression. Founded in the 80's by the Count of Eldorado, and Goliam then 13 years old, they return in one of the original formations with the artist Eric Madeleine aka Made In Eric (http:\/\/www.ericmadeleine.info\/), in Corps Objet Pied de Micro as well as several surprise guests.<\/p>\n<p>Very close to the visual artist Joel Hubaut with whom they have collaborated many times, they have always fully assumed their Batcave-rock roots, but have nevertheless developed an extremely personal and original style, outrageously glamorous, arty sometimes even psychedelic, often accompanied by a touch of humour and derision.<\/p>\n<p>In 1990 they signed with the label Boucherie spearheadof the french Alternative Rock and released their first album \"Fauvisme et pense-b\u00eate\". Hailed by the press it strikes by his delirious theatricality, his lyrics in French with Dadaist accents and his disturbing music. One year later they return with \"Brouettes\", a second album inhabited by the same dark madness, a mix of rock wave and neurotic nursery rhymes.<\/p>\n<p>They perform all over France, Europe, Eastern Europe, Canada and the USA as well as in many festivals (Eurock\u00e9enes, Bourges, SXSW...). Their shows take place in surrealist, oppressive, sometimes absurd settings where giant bones, suspended wheelbarrows, evil dolls and animal costumes rub shoulders.<\/p>\n<p>In 1995 they released their 3rd opus entitled \"12 T\u00eates Mortes\", a record with more industrial, noise and electronic accents accompanied by 12 different covers made by artists like Ben, John Giorno, Orlan\u2026 In 1998 the American gothic band Christian Death covers one of their tracks on the album \"Pornographic Messiah\". Infrastition et Manic Depression. Fond\u00e9 dans les ann\u00e9es 80 par le Comte d\u2019Eldorado, et Goliam alors \u00e2g\u00e9s de 13 ans, ils reviennent dans une des formations d\u2019origine avec l\u2019artiste Eric Madeleine aka Made In Eric (http:\/\/www.ericmadeleine.info\/), en Corps Objet Pied de Micro ainsi que de plusieurs invit\u00e9s surprise.<br>Tr\u00e8s proches du plasticien Joel Hubaut avec qui ils ont collabor\u00e9 \u00e0 maintes reprises, ils ont toujours pleinement assum\u00e9 leurs racines Batcave-rock, mais n'en ont pas moins d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 un style extr\u00eamement personnel et original, outrageusement glamour, arty parfois m\u00eame psych\u00e9 accompagn\u00e9 souvent d'une pointe d\u2019humour et de d\u00e9rision.<br>En 1990 ils signent avec le label Boucherie fer de lance du Rock Alternatif et sortent leur premier album \u00ab Fauvisme et pense-b\u00eate \u00bb. Salu\u00e9 par la presse Il frappe par sa th\u00e9\u00e2tralit\u00e9 d\u00e9lirante, ses textes en fran\u00e7ais aux accents dada\u00efstes et sa musique inqui\u00e9tante. Un an plus tard ils reviennent avec \u00ab Brouettes \u00bb, un second album habit\u00e9 par la m\u00eame folie sombre, m\u00e9lange de rock wave et de comptines n\u00e9vrotiques. Ils se produisent un peu partout en France, en Europe, dans les pays de l\u2019est, au Canada ou aux USA ainsi que dans de nombreux festivals (Eurock\u00e9enes, Bourges , SXSW \u2026).<br>Leurs shows se d\u00e9roulent au sein de d\u00e9cors surr\u00e9aliste, oppressant, parfois absurde o\u00f9 se c\u00f4toient des os g\u00e9ants, des brouettes suspendues, des poup\u00e9es mal\u00e9fiques et des d\u00e9guisements d\u2019animaux.<br>En 1995 ils sortent leur 3e opus intitul\u00e9 \u00ab 12 T\u00eates Mortes \u00bb, disque aux accents plus industriel noise et \u00e9lectronique accompagn\u00e9 de 12 pochettes diff\u00e9rentes r\u00e9alis\u00e9es par des artistes comme Ben, John Giorno, Orlan\u2026 En 1998 le groupe gothique Am\u00e9ricain Christian Death reprend un de leurs morceaux sur l\u2019 album \u00ab Pornographic Messiah \u00bb.
