Cause brings together three distinctive musical personalities\u00a0with strong identities: Lui\u00e7a on vocals, Bruno on synths and\u00a0machines, and Mathieu on guitar.<\/p>\n<p>In 2024, they came together for an experimental music project\u00a0centered on the German artist Joseph Beuys. The performance\u00a0met with immediate success, revealing a unique alchemy between\u00a0the three musicians. From this encounter, Cold Cause was born: a\u00a0powerful musical universe at the crossroads of post-punk, EBM,\u00a0and sonic experimentation, echoing influences such as Lebanon\u00a0Hanover, Boy Harsher, DAF, Joy Division, and Kraftwerk.<\/p>\n<p>Lui\u00e7a, the singer, explores a wide range of registers, cold, dark, and rhythmic, drawing on melancholy and\u00a0despair, while also finding warmer, more comforting tones. Bruno, on synths, crafts hypnotic and gripping lines,\u00a0from deep basses to danceable, martial rhythms. Mathieu, on guitar, leads the group into melancholic\u00a0soundscapes, adding a more dissonant and organic dimension, like a human voice anchoring the whole.<\/p>\n<p>Live, the band delivers a powerful, electric set driven by the singer\u2019s captivating stage presence.\u00a0Composed of nine tracks, the album unfolds across several moods: dark, danceable disco with\u00a0<em>Vampire der\u00a0Liebe<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Dark Madonna<\/em>, and\u00a0<em>Road<\/em>, which carries more melancholic undertones; a post-punk edge with sharp\u00a0guitars and tense rhythms on\u00a0<em>City of Firmaments<\/em>,\u00a0<em>On the first Page<\/em>, and\u00a0<em>Das Gespenst<\/em>; and more overtly\u00a0electronic tracks such as\u00a0<em>Dead Diamond Machine<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Red Dust<\/em>. From this encounter, Cold Cause was born: a\u00a0powerful musical universe at the crossroads of post-punk, EBM,\u00a0and sonic experimentation, echoing influences such as Lebanon\u00a0Hanover, Boy Harsher, DAF, Joy Division, and Kraftwerk.<br>Lui\u00e7a, the singer, explores a wide range of registers, cold, dark, and rhythmic, drawing on melancholy and\u00a0despair, while also finding warmer, more comforting tones. Bruno, on synths, crafts hypnotic and gripping lines,\u00a0from deep basses to danceable, martial rhythms. Mathieu, on guitar, leads the group into melancholic\u00a0soundscapes, adding a more dissonant and organic dimension, like a human voice anchoring the whole.<br>Live, the band delivers a powerful, electric set driven by the singer\u2019s captivating stage presence.\u00a0Composed of nine tracks, the album unfolds across several moods: dark, danceable disco with\u00a0Vampire der\u00a0Liebe,\u00a0Dark Madonna, and\u00a0Road, which carries more melancholic undertones; a post-punk edge with sharp\u00a0guitars and tense rhythms on\u00a0City of Firmaments,\u00a0On the first Page, and\u00a0Das Gespenst; and more overtly\u00a0electronic tracks such as\u00a0Dead Diamond Machine\u00a0and\u00a0Red Dust.
